Reminder: No Candy, Gum or Chromebooks allowed in the gym!

Cafeteria Lunch Trays:

Immediately after finishing your tray of food, get up, dump trash, and turn in your lunch trays! Some students are waiting until the end of lunch to turn in their trays and it is keeping the cafeteria staff from getting the trays cleaned in a timely manner.

Police Week Essay Contest:

In honor of Police Week and in conjunction with the Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony the S.A.L.T. (Seniors and lawmen Together) Counsel is sponsoring an Essay Contest. If you write an 300 word or less essay with a theme of "Police- Our Heroes" you could be one of the winners to read your essay on the radio and at the Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony. Also, if you are the winner of the contest, your teacher will receive a $100 dollar grant for their classroom! Permission slips will be given out in your advisory classes that need to be turned in with your essay. Please turn in your essays to Officer Tim Lester by April 12th. Attention We Runners:

It's getting warmer outside and that means it's time to get our run on again!  Both 5th and 6th grade girls are invited to join us starting March 18th for We Run after school.  We will eat a snack, warm up and stretch, then complete our workout. Pick up an information sheet in the lobby for additional dates and parent permission.  You do NOT have to be a runner to participate. Don't forget to wear your We Run shirts on Mondays!!!

JMS Dodgeball Tournament:

We are having our JMS after school dodgeball  tournament on Tuesday, April 2nd. You can have up to 10 players on your team and may have a combination of boys, girls, 5th, or 6th graders.  The cost is $4 per player. You need one sign up form per team. Get them turned in to Mr. Kluesner as soon as possible.

Bey Blades Club - Session 2

We will start session 2 of bey blades club on Wednesday, April 3rd! So bring your $5 and the form on the information table to Mr. Adams asap!

Math Team:

Math Team members still competing will be meeting next week on THIS morning during RTI time in Mrs. Gross' room.  Also, we will be meeting after school Thursday from 3:10 - 4:00 in Mrs. Gross' room. Please have your rides pick you up in the bus parking lanes outside her classroom at 4:00.

Girl’s Volleyball Camp:

Jackson High School Coaching Staff and Players will be hosting a Volleyball Camp here at the middle school to teach the fundamentals, skills, and strategies it takes to be a successful volleyball player. 5th grade camp will be April 29th- May 2nd and 6th grade camp will be May 6th- May 9th. You can pick up the registration form on the information table in the lobby. Please see Ms. Hadler in room 64 if you have any questions.
