Welcome to Jackson R-2 Professional Development
The Jackson R-2 Professional Development Team works diligently to provide the district's faculty with high quality professional development. The team promotes a variety of professional learning topics focused on student need. Such topics include literacy instruction, research-based instructional strategies, research-based assessment strategies, and teacher collaboration. In addition, the team advocates professional development activities that utilize Jackson R-2 teacher expertise: teachers as professional development day presenters, department chairs, vertical team leaders, school improvement team members, collaboration group leaders, and instructional facilitators.
