Welcome to Jackson R-2 School District!
As a district rich in tradition of excellence, Jackson R-2 Schools is a reflection of our community. High academic achievement is a priority for our students, parents and staff. Jackson R-2 students have surpassed state and national averages on the ACT for the past 15 years. Along academic excellence, Jackson R-2 students excel in fine arts, athletics and extracurricular activities.

With the support of our community, the district is currently completing additions and renovations to Jackson High School campus. Education is something the Jackson community values. This is what drives us to improve. Our focus, from early childhood to high school, is excellence.

Community Computer Courses are BACK!

The Jackson R-2 School District Technology Department is once again offering no-cost computer courses to members of the community. Four courses will be offered during the fall semester in computer labs in the Junior High and High School. The courses are designed to help individuals navigate through the different programs in Microsoft Office 2007. Space is limited to 25 people per course. CTA Chili Supper

The Jackson R-2 CTA is reviving an old tradition! Please join us for the CTA Chili Supper on January 16, 2009. The Chili Supper will take place in the High School Cafeteria from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. (prior to the Jackson vs. Notre Dame basketball game). Students, parents and community members are all invited.
