I cannot believe that it is already the 4th Quarter! This year has absolutely flown by! This quarter all students will be participating in testing: MAP for 3rd – 5th grades and Terra Nova for K – 2nd grades.
MAP testing dates: April 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19 and April 22 & 23 (5th grade only)
Terra Nova testing dates: April 24, 25, 26 & 27 (K & 2nd only) and May 1, 2 & 3 (K – 2)
All classes spent the month of March reviewing testing taking skills and tips to help them feel confident and ready to do their best on their assessments!
The remainder of the year will be spent discussing careers as well as transitioning into the next grade. For some of our students, they are in for a pretty big change next year and so we are going to start preparing now!
One of the things all grades have focused on all year in Counseling is being respectful to all people. Please stress to your student(s) the importance of being kind and respectful at school, at home and in the community.
