So testing tips include:

3. Be prepared (#2 pencil, erasers, etc.).
4. Practice anxiety techniques.
Also, this was in our April Newsletter:
Dear Parents,
Many of you have come into the office to ask about teacher requests/non-requests for next year. In an effort to maintain balanced classrooms, we are going to modify the way we assign students to classes next year. This spring, we will be using our best resource, our staff, to evenly balance classes for next year without assigning those students to a specific teacher. In late May and throughout June, we will be giving parents the opportunity to meet with us regarding the specific educational needs of their child so that we can work together to ensure a good placement. In early August, students will be formally assigned to classrooms and it is our job to ensure the original classroom balance is kept intact. Thank you for your patience as we look to improving our scheduling procedures. Our students are worth the extra effort. Have a great month!
Our first year as principals has flown by! We have had the time of our lives. It has been a true joy getting to know all South students and their families. Thank you for being such a great group of people to work with. We greatly appreciate your support!
