In counseling classes, our Kindergarten through second grades are learning about our character word of the month which is perseverance. They are reading books and watching videos that show examples of good perseverance and why it is important. They will begin a study skills unit towards the end of January.
Third through fifth grades are also learning about perseverance along with some study skill lessons. They are doing writing activities, class discussions, and will eventually play "study skills bingo" to learn and review good study skills and why they are so important.
