At Gordonville library, students K-3 have been reading the 2009-2010 Show Me Readers Award Nominees. This year's nominees include the following: Badger's Fancy Meal by Keiko Kaszo, The Boy Who Was Raised by Librarians by Carla Morris, Callie Cat, Ice Skater by Eileen Spinelli, Hair for Mama by Kelly A. Tinkham, Jack's Talent by Maryann Cocca-Leffler, The Old House by Pamela Duncan Edwards, One Thousand Tracings: Healing the Wounds of World War II by Lita Judge. The Orange Shoes by Trinka Hakes Noble, Snow Day by Lester L. Laminack, Some Dog by Mary Casanoza, Vinnie and Abraham by Dawn Fitzgerald.
After students have heard each of the stories they will vote for their favorite. The votes will be tallied and sent to Show Me Readers Award Committee where the winning book will receive the Show Me Reader Award.
